Upon arriving at Makris Yialos with my family, we were immediately enchanted by its warm and inviting atmosphere. The maisonette we stayed in was not just lovely and clean—it felt brand new, which was a pleasant surprise. Accommodating five people comfortably, it allowed us to relax and unwind after sun-filled days at the beach, which, by the way, was the best in Kefalonia—truly a 5/5 location.The smart TV in our room kept our little ones entertained, but what truly stood out was the swimming pool—a solid 5 stars from me. As a busy boutique hotel manager, being able to surf the web seamlessly was a bonus that I appreciated during some downtime.The staff's hospitality was impeccable, making us feel like part of a big Greek family. We enjoyed delicious meals at the bar/restaurant, and the external decorations added a picturesque touch to our evenings. Makris Yialos may have been our first stay here, but it definitely won't be our last. Thank you for a memorable family vacation.
