Upon arriving at Makris Yialos with my family, we were immediately enchanted by its warm and inviting atmosphere. The maisonette we stayed in was not just lovely and clean-it felt brand new, which was a pleasant surprise. Accommodating five people comfortably, it allowed us to relax and unwind after sun-filled days at the beach, which, by the way, was the best in Kefalonia-truly a 5/5 location.The smart TV in our room kept our little ones entertained, but what truly stood out was the swimming pool-a solid 5 stars from me. As a busy boutique hotel manager, being able to surf the web seamlessly was a bonus that I appreciated during some downtime.The staff's hospitality was impeccable, making us feel like part of a big Greek family. We enjoyed delicious meals at the bar/restaurant, and the external decorations added a picturesque touch to our evenings. Makris Yialos may have been our first stay here, but it definitely won't be our last. Thank you for a memorable family vacation.
